SAGA Rare Earths AS with partners have been granted NOK 79 MNOK from Green Platform to fund the project REEUNiTe. The funding makes it possible to realize Europe’s first sustainable and technologically advanced value chain for the extraction and processing of rare earth metals (REE) and thorium, from the Fensfield in Telemark. Future Materials will manage the project while Resitec will be responsible for the ore extraction in the project that has a total budget of 139MNOK.
